KBHS of Llanelli has bought two new MAN TGS eight-wheelers, completing the acquisition of a trio of MAN 8x4 models spanning over three decades. An F8 and three F2000s have between them completed almost one million kilometres of service for the Welsh muck-shifting and scrap-haulage specialist.

The two latest and striking new TGS 35.440 8x4 BB heavy duty tippers come with Eminox exhausts and light-bars, and were acquired initially to replace the ageing MAN stalwarts. But Karen Thomas, managing director at KBHS, says: "There's absolutely nothing wrong with them and work has picked up recently, so they'll just keep on going."
