MV Commercial has signed a three-year contract hire agreement to provide new Daf trucks to temporary fencing supplier Heras Readyfence. The LF 18.280 27ft dropsides with 7.5-tonne front axles and Palfinger PK 19 cranes are on full repair and maintenance contracts.
Scott Bishop, lead project engineer at MV Commercial, said: “Heras was looking for a large mounted crane on its vehicles so we had to specify heavy duty front axles for the loading weight. We also designed a hydraulically-operated H-frame to protect that crane and to support the taller fence sections that are loaded.”
