British Car Auctions (BCA) has sold its first Nemo at a Citroën-exclusive live online closed sale at Measham. The 08-plated Nemo sold for £5,500, making 119% against CAP's clean value. The 406-van sale generated £2.4m turnover for the 42 Citroën Approved dealers.

Michael Brown, head of remarketing for Citroën UK, says: "Citroën and BCA have combined to buck the current tough market conditions to sell a record number of vehicles in a Citroën sale and achieve a respectable price performance. To sell over 400 vehicles in one sale, on one day, is exceptional when the used market has been under such pressure."

Brown singled out strong performances by the Nemo, Relay and Berlingo, all of which outstripped book values. "The strong attendance and the confident bidding throughout the sale is testimony to the desirability of the Citroën range," he says, "and demonstrates the commitment of our dealer network towards used vehicles."
