Cartwright Waste Disposal has added a new DAF XD 410 FAN 6x2 rigid to its fleet of 29 vehicles. The XD is bodied with a NTM-GB multi-compartment trade waste bin collection specification. Supplied by Greenhous Commercials Shrewsbury, the vehicle will be put to work collecting general waste, mixed recycling and food waste in the Shrewsbury area.

“We’re very happy following the delivery of the truck and the follow up given by the sales team. The drivers have enjoyed driving the new vehicle and have adapted to the DAF digital vision system despite feeling apprehensive towards the change.”
As well as the digital vision system, the truck has DAF corner view to improve visibility. The XD features a 26-tonne NTM KGH+FK body with split-body technology and on-board weighing system maximise collection capacity.
