Schmitz Cargobull has appointed Steve Vincent as head of aftermarket to develop its service partner network in the UK and Ireland.
The network includes around 50 approved maintenance providers, specially trained in R&M on the manufacturer’s equipment. It forms part of Schmitz Cargobull’s pan-European network of more than 1,300 service partners.
Vincent has more than 30 years of experience in the vehicle industry, most recently as operations director for Manheim Aftersales Solutions. He has previously worked for Renault Trucks, Hyundai and Volkswagen, as well as supporting the growth of the RAC’s service patrol network.
Vincent said: “High-quality products require high-quality support. I’ll be using my experience from the consumer sector to ensure that transport providers can benefit from skilled maintenance delivered with a retail-style approach to customer care.”
