New head at Renault Trucks UK

Renault Trucks Marc Martinez has relinquished his role as MD of the truck manufacturer’s UK operation.

Martinez (pictured right), who landed the plum job of MD in the UK in July 2010, is to return to France as vice-president of Renault Trucks France.

He is succeeded by Gino Costa. Costa starts in his role as vice-president in January, and will head Renault Trucks UK, as well as BRS and Renault Truck Commercials (the contract hire, and dealer-network businesses of Renault UK).

Costa was previously MD of Renault Trucks Italy.

Renault will launch its new Premium truck next year, which a CM reader recently snapped undertaking trials on UK roads.
