Renault Truck dealer RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV) has appointed Peter Jukes as its bodyshop and parts sales manager.
An associate member of the Institute of Motor Industry (AMIMI), Jukes will be based at the firm’s Nottingham headquarters. He was formerly regional parts and service business manager at Renault Trucks UK and has also worked for Isuzu Trucks.
“This is an exciting new position for me, that will allow me to combine the skills I have learned throughout my career, to propel RHCV’s bodyshop and parts department forward,” said Jukes. “The business has some ambitious growth plans and I am thrilled to be a part of those.”
The group, which operates four sites across the east Midlands, has also begun refurbishing its Nottingham bodyshop, adding a facility to prepare vehicles before they are moved into the spray booth for painting – a process which is currently outsourced.
The work is due to be completed before the site opens for business in January, at which point it will offer full repainting of truck cabs and chassis, along with body repairs for minor accident damage to trucks and LCVs. It said that major accident work would take place off site.
The group has also hired two further members of staff as part of the bodyshop team: Craig Pearce, who previously worked at Silverstone painting Formula 1 cars, and Tim Smith, a former Nationwide Accident Repairs employee.
