Following the acquisition of two sites from Cazoo, Greenhous Group has reopened these locations as vehicle refurbishment centres. Based in Livingston, Scotland and Cold Meece in the Midlands, this expands the group's national coverage.

Ashley Passant, managing director of Greenhous Group car and van operations, said: "We are thrilled to bring these two new refurbishment sites into the growing Greenhous network. The strategic locations in Livingston and Cold Meece allow us to better serve our customers across the UK, providing start-to-finish vehicle refurbishment with unparalleled quality.”

The new locations feature the necessary equipment to complete vehicle refurbishments. Around 20,000 vehicles a year are expected to be refurbished at the 14-acre Livingston site.

Passant said: “This latest expansion reflects Greenhous Group’s broader strategy to drive growth and diversify our service offering. As we continue to grow, these facilities will play a crucial role in supporting our future ambitions, including plans to enhance our presence in the used vehicle market."

Across the group, Greenhous supplies more than 70,000 vehicles annually. The automotive group includes passenger vehicle dealers, light commercial and large commercial vehicle dealerships. In 2019, the company acquired the DAF dealer Adams Morey, followed by the acquisition of Heatons Truck Group which added four more DAF locations to the group. This brought the company’s DAF dealer portfolio up to 19 locations covering the south west, south coast, west Midlands and north west, making it one of the largest DAF dealer groups in the UK.

2023 saw a sizeable amount of reinvestment into the business. North West Trucks opened a new site in Warrington close to the M6 and M62 motorways following a £2 million investment. The Livingstone refurbishment site was purchased last year and Greenhous opened a new pre-delivery inspection centre in Featherstone for at least 1500 vehicles to receive inspections annually. Greenhous also acquired the commercial vehicle bodybuilder Bulkrite.
