A first look at the third-generation of Renault Trafic van has been released, with a range of new styling, technology and engine modifications said to have benefitted from Renault’s involvement in F1.

The Renault/Vauxhall joint-developed van will be revealed ahead of the CV show in April. The Trafic dimensions will change and it will share the same underpinnings as the new Vivaro, with new Euro-6 compliant engine technology resulting in a radically different looking van to the outgoing model.

Both new vans are expected to hit UK and European roads in the summer, with Renault hoping to build on the 1.6 million Trafic van sales made since its launch 34 years ago.
