Oswestry-based refrigerated trailer hire fleet firm Cadwallader has taken delivery of a new Thermo King SLXi-300 refrigeration system from Marshall Fleet Solutions.
The system is fitted to a 2017-spec Bizien 13.6m triaxle single-compartment refrigerated trailer, which is being used as a demonstration unit.
Cadwallader operates a 350-strong all-refrigerated trailer hire fleet and is exclusive UK distributor for the Bizien trailer range.
Thermo King says the SLXi refrigeration system, which features telematics as standard using its new TK BlueBox communication device, can deliver up to 20% fuel savings.
Mark Pritchard, operations manager at Cadwallader, said: “We favour Thermo King refrigeration systems in our fleet and were excited about the prospect of getting the newly-launched SLXi into our fleet as soon as possible.”
