The first sale at the new Commercial Vehicle Auctions (CVA) site in Livingston, Scotland took place this week, with MD Ross Dalton pleased with the debut performance, writes Kevin Swallow.
With the best part of 100 lots up for grabs, the buyers onsite and online were competitive, which resulted in the majority of trucks being sold on the day.
“The online response was excellent with plenty of new customers in Scotland also making use of the online platform. The actual number of buyers onsite was good given it’s our first auction in a new location,” he said, and expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported the launch sale.
Auctions will take place monthly from the Starlaw Business Park site, with the next one scheduled for the 7th November 2019.
