Cambridgeshire-based Welch’s Transport has taken delivery of two new Renault Premium tractor units for use on its recently extended contract with Ardex UK.

WTL Truck and Van Centre supplied the two Route 460 6x2 trucks with privilege cabs, and they join a 70-strong mixed fleet of Renault, MAN and Daf vehicles. The trucks, which have been prepared in Ardex livery, will pull new liveried trailers. They will be used on the recently extended three-year contract with the specialist tiling and building materials supplier.

Jim Welch, MD, Welch’s Transport, said: “The Premiums are low maintenance, reliable trucks and, with average fuel returns in excess of 9mpg, they are also the most fuel efficient trucks on our fleet.”
