A new welding process developed in the UK is at the heart of an innovative new trailer floor from Schmitz Cargobull.
The MF6 multi-function floor is formed from extruded aluminium planks friction welded together to give a surface that is both harder and 5% lighter than traditional aluminium flooring.
Its TÜV-certified design provides high level of grip for pallets and roll cages with integrated profiles for vertical locking bars, noise levels complying with the Dutch PIEK standard and an easy to clean surface.
The MF6 floor is now standard on the Schmitz Cargobull S.KO Cool refrigerated range.
