New XF and CF trucks centre stage on Tip-ex Daf stand

The new XF and CF models are the stars of the Daf stand at Tip-ex and Tank-ex this year.

Although the double-drive versions of greatest interest to the construction sector won't be launched until later in the year, the benefits of the already available models. 

In particular, the 130kg weight reduction of a 6x2 tractor should appeal to bulk tipper artic operators.

Daf launched the new trucks at the CV Show in April.

The manufacturer claims the vehicles offer a 7% fuel efficiency improvement on their predecessors.
