Nikola launches a new hydrogen fuel cell truck for the European market

“We want to transform everything about the transportation industry,” said Trevor Milton, CEO of Nikola, at last night’s unveiling of a range of hydrogen fuel cell trucks. “With Nikola’s vision, the world will be cleaner, safer and healthier.”

Of the vehicles shown in Scottsdale, Arizona, arguably the most interesting was the Tre (pictured), which is aimed squarely at the European market. It has a range of between 500 and 750 miles depending upon load, and will have fast hydrogen fueling in under 15 minutes.

“Think about Europe with no more diesel trucks,” said Milton. “The roads will be clean, quiet and beautiful.”
