Norbert Dentressangle launches Irish subsidiary

Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has launched a new subsidiary, ND Logistics Ireland.

Based in Co. Kildare, the new company will build on its existing Irish distribution and freight forwarding businesses, which operate from bases in Dublin and Belfast, across contracts including ADM Londis, La Pallete Rogue, Mitsubishi and Tesco.

Mark Boulton, business development director for ND Logistics Ireland, says: “With our local presence and knowledge and the backing of one of Europe’s largest transport and logistics companies, Norbert Dentressangle will continue to invest in our operations as we pursue our strategy to become the logistics partner of choice for Irish manufacturers and retailers.”

ND Logistics Ireland employs 120 staff, with a further 20 positions set to be created in the next 12 months.
