Norbert Dentressangle Transport Services has won a distribution contract with Dixon International Group.

The logistics firm will manage the transport for all of Dixon's divisions, including Sealmaster and Ventura, which make seals for doors and windows. The company will collect goods from Dixon's Pampisford, Cambridge manufacturing site and trunk them overnight to regional depots for final deliveries.

Previously Retford, Notts-based Stella Transport had managed the contract, according to David Allen, warehouse manager at Sealmaster.

He says: "Norbert were able to offer us a competitive rate and we were attracted to its technology, which will improve our operational efficiency."
