Norfolk haulier Carter Haulage & Storage is appealing for help after one of its Volvo trucks were stolen from its yard.
The 1993-registered Volvo F10 was last seen at the firm’s yard in Shouldham Thorpe, near King’s Lynn, at around 6.15pm on Tuesday evening (13 November). Owner Peter Carter realised the truck was missing at 7am on Wednesday 14 November.
The firm is offering a £1,000 reward for the safe return of the truck, which has a distinctive green and red livery with a white stripe across the side.
“A lot of people in the local area would recognise the truck,” Carter said.
The truck was recently restored by Peter Carter’s son and fellow Carter Haulage & Storage director Carl, and was one of the top five in the Senior Truck category at Truckfest in Peterborough this year.
The family haulier has been operating for 33 years and has an O-licence to run 20 vehicles and 67 trailers out of its Shouldham Thorpe site.
Carter is urging anyone who has any information about the truck's whereabouts to contact the police.
