Norfolkline cuts Ro-Ro sailings from Felixstowe

Norfolkline has cut the number of sailings on its RO-RO freight service between Felixstowe and Vlaardingen in Holland due to the economic climate. Currently, the North Sea Ferry Service operates 44 sailings each week, but this will be cut by two.

Norfolkline has already withdrawn one of its North Sea weekend sailings during the summer and warns that it cannot rule out further cuts on its weekend service. If this occurs, the company says it will allow a daily service in each direction over Saturday and Sunday instead of its twice-daily service over the same period.
