Construction haulier NWH Group has taken delivery of nine MAN TGS 8x4 tippers.
They are working on the Dalkeith-based operator’s contract with Bam Construction building the Borders railway between Edinburgh and Tweedbank.
The muck-away specification MAN 8x4s have steel outreach bodies, Edbro tipping gear, on-board weighing equipment and rollover easy sheets.
They were acquired on five-year hire purchase packages through MAN Financial Services and join four existing 8x4s running on NWH’s construction services fleet.
MD Mark Williams said: “MAN came to our attention in 2010. We took six tractor units then, and that good experience led us to take on four eight-wheelers for the tipper fleet.
“Good fuel and rugged reliability has meant that another nine have been introduced.”
