Applications
Mick George wants to base six vehicles at a new depot in Ermine Street, Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire; and six vehicles at a site in Buckden Road, Brampton, Cambridgeshire.
Reed Boardall Transport would like to increase its authorisation at Bar Lane, Boroughbridge, York, to 230 vehicles and 350 trailers.
Salvatori Logistics has applied to base 60 vehicles and 30 trailers at an operating centre in Swale Way, Sittingbourne, Kent.
It also wants to remove its Whitewall Road, Medway City Estate, Rochester site from its O-licence and upgrade to a standard international O-licence.
Yusen Logistics (UK) would like a new operating centre in Burnaston Road, Derby, where it wants to base 90 vehicles and 200 trailers.
Decisions
Sainsbury’s Supermarkets has been given the green light for 200 vehicles and 350 trailers at its DC in Fleming Road, Waltham Abbey; 100 vehicles and 185 trailers in Normandy Way, Hoddesdon; 70 vehicles and 120 trailers at its depot in Elstree Way, Borehamwood; and 35 trailers in Pindar Road, Hoddesdon. It has also been given permission for 150 vehicles and 250 trailers at a site in Houndmills Road, Basingstoke, subject a condition relating to where the vehicles will park on the land.
Transam Trucking can base 80 vehicles and 80 trailers at its Castleton Way, Eye, Cambridgeshire, site.
Woodland Logistics has had its authorisation increased to 17 vehicles at its site on the Airfield Industrial Estate, Earls Colne, Colchester; six vehicles at Cepac’s site in Paper Mill Road, Rawcliffe Bridge, Goole; and seven vehicles and 20 trailers at Cepac’s site on the Faverdale Industrial Estate, Darlington. It also has permission for a new operating centre in Granville Way, Bicester, where it can base two vehicles and two trailers.
GBA Transport has permission for five vehicles and five trailers at a new operating centre in Puddlers Road, Middlesborough.
