O'Connor Transport (Widnes) has changed its name to O'Connor Container Transport. Commercial director Peter Lea said the change was made to give the company name a more modern feel.
"We felt that the old name sounded a bit 1970s and the change was made to bring the name in line with the rest of the O'Connor group of companies," Lea says. The company specialises in UK landside container logistics for intermodal deep sea and short sea services.
