The organisers of the CV Show, which takes place at the NEC from the 24 to 26 April, have issued a warning about a scam currently doing the rounds that offers a fake attendee list in exchange for payment.
Sent from the email address natalie@wisdomglobalmedia.com it reads:
“Subject - Attendee list of CVO 2018.
Hi,
Wishing you all the best for Commercial Vehicle Operator Show 2018. Would you be interested in the Attendee list of CVO 2018?
Available Counts: 17520
Details Included:- Company Name, Contact Name, Title, Address, Web Site, Phone Number, Fax Number, Verified Email Address, Employee Size, and Revenue size, SIC Code, Industry Type, NAICS Code, Email verification result.
Let me know if you are interested and I will get back to you with pricing model.

A spokeswoman for the CV Show said in response to the email: “Yes unfortunately one of many scams going around this time of year. It's eight years since we did the operator show! We carry a permanent warning on our website for that reason.”
