The all-new Renault Master and Vauxhall Movano range of panel vans goes on sale this week offering improved running costs, better performance and a broader line-up than the outgoing machines.
The new product, part of the continued collaboration between Renault and Vauxhall on light commercial vehicles, is the culmination of a four-year development plan and gives both companies an offering in the van sector up to 4.5 tonnes GVW. Built in Batilly, France, the Master and Movano are completely new, replacing the products of the same name in the existing line-ups. The Renault Master dimensions and the Vauxhall Movano dimensions are the same.
Maintenance costs are reduced by 40% through an improvement in service intervals, as well as a number of durability measures, including the shift from a timing belt to a chain in the 2.3-litre engine and a 20% improvement in brake durability.
The Master and Movano will make their show debuts at the forthcoming Commercial Vehicle Operator Show at the NEC from 13 to 15 April.
