German truck leasing company Truck Center Hauser (TCH) has been acquired by Paccar Financial Services. TCH runs a fleet of 1,200 trucks and 1,800 trailers with an HQ near Frankfurt and 10 depots across the country. It has about 3,000 clients.

Paccar vice-president Ron Armstrong says: "This acquisition accelerates the launch of the PacLease brand in Europe and sets the stage for rapid deployment in Germany and other European countries. PacLease Europe provides another benefit for Daf's customers and will contribute towards Daf achieving its goal of 20% market share." Last year Daf increased its European market share to 14.5%. Dieter Hauser from TCH adds: "With TCH becoming part of PacLease there are great opportunities for further growth of the company in Germany and throughout Europe."
