Palletised freight network Pall-Ex has been engaged in some, all-above-board, monkey business.
The network donated free pallets and arranged for the delivery of other donated materials to Monkey World, a monkey and ape rescue centre located in Dorset.
When members of the network were approached by the centre to help facilitate the upgrading of an enclosure, they went bananas at the opportunity.
Pall-Ex members Linkline Express and Shears Brothers Transport arranged for the collection and delivery of the donated pallets and a recycled fire hose for the enclosure’s inhabitants to play on.
Shelley Fletcher, operations manager at Monkey World, said: “It’s always great news when companies across the country are happy to donate items to the centre.
"Having Pall-Ex organise and facilitate the delivery of the goods allows us to spend money where it matters, helping with the rescue and rehabilitation of primates in need.”
The enclosure is now fully assembled, and CM has been ensured its primate residents are really getting into the swing of things in their new home.
