Three-quarters of Palletforce members believe their businesses will perform better in the coming year than the previous twelve months, according to a survey conducted by the pallet network.
Palletforce found that despite a slew of depressing economic data and the spectre of another banking crisis in Europe, just 10% of its 87 shareholder members were concerned about the economy.
Michael Conroy, chief executive of Palletforce, says: “No one has got rose-tinted glasses on saying hat economic conditions are perfect, or that they aren’t any obstacles to overcome.
“However our members are showing the outlook is not as bleak as all that, which doesn’t surprise me.”
Palletforce has added seven new members in this its tenth anniversary year and chief executive Michael Conroy confirmed European expansion remains firmly on the menu.
The network is also currently piloting in-cab technology at five depots to cut paperwork and improve efficiency.
In February Palletforce revealed record pre-tax profit.
