Palletline has achieved bronze accreditation with the Freight Operator Recognition Scheme (Fors) at its London depot.

The network demonstrated to Fors assessors that it had implemented a benchmarking system to reduce fuel usage and improve driver performance.

Wayne Walsh says: "Palletline London is constantly evaluating ways of raising standards through improved operational efficiencies."

The accreditation scheme is free for operators to join and has 570 registered operators running almost 72,000 vehicles collectively. It represents about 21% of CVs operating in the capital and Transport for London aims to boost this to 50% by 2016.
