Lightweight walking floor trailers and rigid bodies from Paneltex Martrans will be making their debut at Tip-ex and Tank-ex 2018 – which takes place at the Harrogate Convention Centre next week.
On stand B25-28 two examples of non-tipping bodies from its 2018 lightweight range of walking floor bodies - manufactured in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire – will be on show.
For these latest models Paneltex Martrans has re-engineered the body work, changing the shape to a tapered sided body, as well as simplifying the overall hydraulicsand installing a lighter V6 floor system. They will be shown for the first time next week in Harrogate.
Chris Berridge, MD at Paneltex, said:“We have been long-time supporters of the Tip-ex exhibition as it is an excellent platform for our Martrans chassis and bodies.
“Several years ago, we unveiled our first ever walking floor trailer here, which has subsequently led to these now becoming an integral part of the Paneltex product portfolio. This year we are here once more, this time with the latest lightest-weight version ever of our walking floor rigid and trailer range,” he added.
Paneltex will be demonstrating one of its new lightweight 13.4m walking floor trailers in the colours of WR Cross & Sons from Buckingham. This is the fifth Paneltex Martrans walking floor trailer to be added to the Cross fleet.
Nick Cross, of WR Cross & Sons, said: “Martrans walking floor trailers are really well manufactured, with excellent reliability and no downtime. We now have five in the fleet and the commitment by Paneltex to providing us with the highest level of customer service is first class.”
In addition to the walking floor trailer, Paneltex Martrans will also be showing a brand-new Iveco Stralis X-Way 8x4 rigid complete with a lightweight Paneltex Martrans walking floor rigid body. This 8-wheel rigid will be operating as a demonstrator for Iveco immediately following the show.
