Paneltex is offering show visitors a glimpse of the future with four electric-powered trucks on its stand (3B50).

Two of the vehicles feature Paneltex refrigerated bodies specified with all-electric refrigeration systems.

“Towards the end of 2018 we announced that Paneltex would be adding electric vehicles to its product portfolio with a commitment to these becoming production vehicles,” said Paneltex MD Chris Berridge. “At the show, we are highlighting four different models from our production range of electric vehicles.”

There are three 7.5-tonne Paneltex electric vehicles based on the Isuzu N75 rigid chassis on the stand. One of these vehicles has a Paneltex refrigerated body with a GAH electric refrigeration system that is powered by the traction batteries. This vehicle includes triple rear doors with a nearside access door as well.

Also at the show is a 4.25-tonne BD Auto electric conversion, designed for the home delivery market. It has a payload of 1,100kg.
