Double-deck trailer specialist Transdek UK has appointed Paul Avery to the new role of MD, trailers, as part of a restructuring of its senior management team.

Avery, who was previously MD at Montracon, will be responsible for driving output at the company’s Harworth site, increasing sales, and, longer term, establishing a new facility dedicated to trailer production.

He said: “All of Transdek’s products deliver such a speedy return on investment for customers, through substantial operational cost savings.

“The company is an innovator, not a follower, and as an engineer this provides me with a unique opportunity.”

Also, sales director Leon Butler has been promoted to the role of MD, modular loading solutions, and company founder Mark Adams, has become chief executive officer.

Adams said: “Paul brings a wealth of trailer experience with him to drive forward the growth of our award winning trailer products, and Leon has an exceptional overview of the interface between transport, the loading bay and warehousing that will support the continued success of our innovative modular lifts.

“The new structure will allow us to develop even more efficient logistics solutions for our customers.”
