Peckover Transport moves from UK Pallets to Fortec

Long-term UK Pallets member Peckover Transport has moved to the Fortec Pallet Distribution Network.

Richard Clayton, MD of the Bradford-based firm, says he decided to make the move this February after being impressed by the Fortec management teams' flexibility and support.

"The fact that they have a northern hub [in Warrington] will also help me to compete," says Clayton.

Peckover runs 23 vehicles in a predominately Iveco fleet. It will cover the majority of the LS and HG postcodes for Fortec.

The company, which had turnover of £2.2m in 2011, also has a 25,000 ft² warehouse in the Low Moor area of Bradford. It employs more than 30 staff.

It previously operated within Huddersfield and Halifax for UK Pallets.

MAN TopUsed moves stock through Protruck Auctions
