Chilled storage and distribution specialist Pentons, of Oswestry in Shropshire, is offering a substantial reward for information leading to the recovery of a Scania 142 Tag Axle .
The vehicle has great sentimental value to the firm - it was the first HGV that Pentons Haulage owned. The blue-and-white Scania cab, which has a red chassis, has the registration E142 WNT and the Pentons Haulage livery on the side.
It was stolen from School Road, Ruyton XI Towns, in Shropshire between about 9.25pm and 9.40pm on Friday 24 July.
Tony Tomlinson, transport administration manager at Pentons, says that the vehicle was last seen travelling south on A5 at Dobbies Island, Shrewsbury, on the A5-A49 Junction at approximately 10pm.
