More than a year ago Truck & Driver persuaded three generous used truck dealers – J&L Commercials, DW Vehicles and Trucks 2 Go – to donate a 2002 Scania 6x2 tractor unit for charity. Since then it has been customised with the help of many friends in the industry.
The project is now complete, bar some last minute snagging, and the truck can be seen in the outside display area at the CV Show 2012, currently taking place at the Birmingham NEC. It will also be appearing at Truckfest in 10 days’ time.
The next step is to sell it and all the profits from the sale will be handed over to the Help For Heroes charity.
