Port of Calais to be closed on Tuesday due to bomb

Next Tuesday (27th March) the Port of Calais will be closed for around 3 hours from 9.30am, due to the discovery of an unexploded World War II German mine on the port approaches. The mine will be removed with a controlled explosion, and ferry operators anticipate resuming normal services soon afterwards.
