Tyre manufacturer Prometeon will return to this year’s Road Transport Expo to share an exciting evolution in its business with the UK debut of the new Prometeon-branded tyres.
Ali Yilmaz, Prometeon’s MD UK, Ireland and Nordics, said: “RTX 2024 is the perfect platform for the UK debut of the first of our new Prometeon-branded premium tyres. We are proud of our heritage and the evolution to Prometeon-branded products is an historical moment for the Group.”
“Since our foundation in 2017, all of our tyres have been fully developed and engineered by Prometeon. In 2024 we are entering a new phase of our journey by putting the Prometeon signature on our tyres,” explains Yilmaz.
At RTX, which takes place at NAEC Stoneleigh from 4-6 June, Prometeon will be showcasing the Group’s first tyres to carry the Prometeon branding – the R02 Pro Trailer.
Featuring a completely new tread design and compound, the R02 Pro Trailer ensures low rolling resistance and high durability for optimisation of total management costs. The Prometeon R02 tyre also has a new reinforced casing construction offering an increased load capacity up to 10 tonnes, ensuring high strength and retreadability, even for use with high loads.
The Prometeon stand at RTX 2024, GR38, is located in Hall 2A and will also feature the tyre manufacturer’s next generation Serie 02 range of tyres, designed for regional, long-haul, and on/off road applications.
Launched in 2022, the Serie 02 is engineered for durability, reliability, and performance, ensuring optimal traction and safety in a wide range of driving conditions. With a focus on innovation and sustainability, Prometeon’s Serie 02 tyres offer cost-effective solutions that maximise efficiency and minimise environmental impact.
Prometeon’s chief technical officer, Alexandre Bregantim, will also be participating in The Big Debate: ‘Future of Tyres’ panel discussion at RTX 2024 on Thursday 6 June.
The Big Debate will explore what’s new in the world of tyre technology and how thinking differently about tyre choices can save road transport operators money, as well as drive efficiency into their fleets.
The Prometeon team will also be talking to visitors at RTX about the Group’s Pro Services offering. From tyre monitoring and analysis to predictive maintenance and customised solutions, Pro Services are a suite of value-added managed services that enable fleet operators of all sizes and type to enhance operational efficiency, prolong tyre lifespan, and reduce overall operating costs.
Yilmaz explains: “By leveraging advanced technology and expert support, Pro Services empowers businesses to make informed decisions and to streamline their tyre management processes.”
