Camera safety provider Exeros Technologies is showcasing its range of artificial intelligence (AI) safety systems including its DVS BSIS system and AI Sky View 360 cameras.
Designed to meet the Direct Vision Standard (DVS) for Greater London, the DVS BSIS system incorporates a Moving Off Information System, Blind Spot Information System and Left Turn Audible Alert to protect cyclists and other vulnerable road users. The Safety Mesh system has overlapping detection areas where two sensors merge to create full coverage of the nearside and front blindspots. The Exeros DVS BSIS meets GSR 2 R151 and R159 requirements, and surpasses the current DVS 2024 standards for HGVs over 12 tonnes.
Exeros’ AI Sky View 360 system is a blind spot elimination tool using artificial intelligence to scan and detect hazards from four camera feeds, notifying the driver of any risks.
“AI Sky View creates an augmented reality view of the surroundings, stitching together images from four cameras, automatically detecting any pedestrians, cyclists or vulnerable road users, alerting the driver on a screen in the cab. Our goal is to prevent accidents rather than just capturing footage,” explains Katie Luckwell, Exeros Technologies partnerships manager.
