PT Hire refreshes hire fleet with 205 new MAN TGX tractor units

PT Hire has placed a massive order for 205 new MAN TGX 26.510 6x2 tractor units.

The huge new order also includes an additional 75 used units and will take the PT Hire fleet to over 700 vehicles.

He added: “Ensuring our fleet is fresh, up to date in terms of latest technology, in perfect working order and 100 percent turnkey ready at all times is key to us meeting the needs of our growing customer base. We offer a nationwide service to our customers and at all times we feel we have the focussed support of MAN and their commercial vehicle dedicated dealer network.”

The first five New vehicles arrived at the start of April following preparation and PDI at MAN dealer DSV Commercials in Immingham and have already gone out to PT Hire customers. The 205 new vehicles all have the range topping GX cabs and will be powered by six-cylinder D26 510 hp 12.4 litre, Euro 6 step E engines.

The order for 75 MAN TopUsed vehicles comprises of a mix of tractors, including late 2019 460 hp and 500 hp models and New Generation 510hp 26.510’s.
