Pullman Fleet Services, the commercial vehicle repair firm, has opened an Authorised Testing Facility (ATF) at Motherwell Way, West Thurrock, Essex.

The nine-bay workshop has petrochemical (ADR) compliant bays, an MOT test lane and can handle anything from light vans up to tractor units and trailers.

Graham Hunter, MD of Pullman, says: “As the UK’s largest independent commercial vehicle service and maintenance business, our objective is to keep fleets legal and safe, while always reducing vehicle downtime.”

The new ATF supplements the company’s existing London Road site in West Thurrock.

Pullman is part of the Wincanton Group, although only around a fifth of its work is related to its parent company’s vehicle fleet.

Pullman has 800 employees based at 32 workshops across the UK.
