RB: What is your favourite holiday destination?
DW: New Zealand. The way of life is different and I enjoy the culture and lifestyle.

RB: What car do you drive?
DW: Volkswagen Caddy.

RB: What are your hobbies?
DW: High-adrenaline activities such as motocross, motorcycling and mountain biking.

RB: What is your favourite TV programme?
DW: Sons of Anarchy.

RB: What celebrity would you most like to meet?
DW: Guy Martin. We have similar personalities as he is bike-mad like me and he is always doing some sort of crazy challenge. He is even a truck mechanic.

RB: How did you get into the industry?
DW: After work experience at RHCV while I was at school. Then, when I was about to leave, I received a phone call from RHCV asking me if I wanted to come in for an interview.

RB: How would you encourage more young people into the industry?
DW: Let them know it is not always about big hammers and dirty, heavy jobs. It is a technical and precise role, and colleagues can become good mates outside of work.

RB: What is the outlook for your sector of the market over the next 12 months?
DW: It will change as more technology is incorporated into vehicles.

RB: How is RH Commercial Vehicles different from the competition?
DW: It’s a family-run business with a close-knit team and everyone knows each other well. It is great to be a part of a firm that values its employees, has been awarded Renault Trucks’ Dealer of the Year and is in its 40th year.
