North Eastern recovery operator Turners of Sedgefield has switched marque to Isuzu following the addition of a second 7.5-tonne recovery truck, with a cab from the new Forward range, to its 30-strong fleet.
Depot manager Garry Williams says: "Following a series of under-performing vehicles, we decided to switch to Isuzu 12 months ago. The first one has performed well and we had no hesitation specifying the new model when we looked to add a further vehicle."
Turners specified the Isuzu Forward N75.190 with a crew-cab and fitted with a slide back recovery body, manufactured by David Bland. Supplied by local Isuzu dealer Protruck Commercial Services, the vehicle is expected to cover 100,000km a year over its working life.
