Reeds Construction is the UK dealer for the Turkish brand Nursan Trailers, which specialises in silo and tanker trailers.
Nursan began manufacturing semi-trailers in 1998 and has since grown to become one of the largest trailer manufacturers in Turkey.
The company now has a wider presence in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Central and South America. After Turkey, France and the UK are now key markets for Nursan.
Thomas Reed, managing director of Reeds, said: “We came across Nursan Trailers, a manufacturer based in Turkey, and it had many years’ experience in building silo tanks and tankers in both steel and aluminium. It offered a wide range of designs and was very receptive to our requirements.”
Haydn Waters, sales manager at Reeds, added: “Right from the start we knew there was an opportunity to supply trailers to other soil stabilisation companies, as we already supplied a great many of them with equipment and machinery on both a sales and hire basis.
"Nursan was able to respond to this additional demand and we became its sales and service agent for the UK, enabling us to promote its full range of silo tankers, including the lighter smaller capacity aluminium trailers for the bulk transport market.”
