Renault had updated its T, T High, C and K models for the model year 2025, with improved efficiency, safety and driver comfort.

Compared to the previous generation, fuel consumption has been reduced by up to 3%. In 2022 Renault introduced turbo compound engines which can deliver fuel savings of up to 10%. The manufacturer has built on this technology to offer further fuel savings. As well as optimised powertrain components such as the gearbox and axles, Renault will fit A+ tyres as standard to minimise rolling resistance.

Instead of traditional mirrors, the T, T High and E-Tech T will feature cameras to improve aerodynamic performance. Inside the cab, the driver sees two screens showing the view from the cameras, the system also has an infrared mode for seeing at night. The camera system is also an option for Renault C, K and E-Tech C models.

For 2025, Renault’s heavy-duty range can be ordered with an adjustable power steering system. At low speeds this makes the steering more responsive and at high speeds it’s said to improve vehicle stability. Hydraulic power steering is combined with an electric motor and sensors to monitor the truck’s movements and driver intentions. The system is able to adjust vehicle behaviour in real time to offer the right level of responsiveness depending on the scenario.

The new model year will also see lane-keeping with corrective steering introduced. The system guides the vehicle back into its lane if there’s an unintentional movement from the lane, designed to improve safety for all road users.

As well as the option to add working lamps at the rear of the cab, Renault will offer automatic high beam activation. Automatic low beam headlights are standard fitment on current generation models. The automatic high beams will activate based on conditions such as weather, light levels and other road users.
