Renault Trucks has revised its Range T, C and K truck ranges in the most extensive round of updates since the vehicles’ 2013 launch.

The new trucks, which were revealed on Tuesday via the popular Euro Truck Simulator 2 game, are said to be up to 3% more fuel-efficient than their predecessors. Although full details have yet to be revealed, this fuel consumption improvement is likely to have been achieved by a combination of improved aerodynamic styling, enhancements to the Fuel Eco Pack, and making low rolling resistance tyres standard.

Among the external changes are new wrap-around LED headlights, which are claimed to be three times more powerful than standard lights. The new design incorporates daytime running lamp, main beam, fog light and indicator.

New safety features include LED step lighting, anti-intrusion door locks and an anti-rollaway feature for the electronic parking brake.

Driver comfort has been stepped up with new seats, improved in-cab sound insulation, a better quality mattress with memory foam topper, and the inclusion of USB C ports.

Service intervals are being extended too, with oil drain intervals typically increasing by 50%.

We will be bringing you more details as soon as they become available. In the meantime, to experience the ‘Evolution of Renault Trucks’ first hand, you can join the 9 million people worldwide who play Euro Truck Simulator 2, and get behind the wheel of a new Renault Range T or
