Renault Trucks is bringing a touch of Yorkshire to Tip-ex 2018, which takes place at the Harrogate Convention Centre between 31 May and 2 June, with a 13-litre Range T520 6x2 tag axle tractor unit in Thompsons of York’s carnation-red and black livery.

Visitors to the Renault Trucks stand (M14-16) will see two Range T 6x2 tractor units, which offer reduced fuel consumption and increased payloads of up to 114kgs.

The first is the Thompson’s of York Range T520 which has a 3200mm wheelbase and is equipped with a sleeper cab, a factory-fitted PTO and options including Alcoa DuraBright aluminium wheels, a 24-litre fridge, Kelsa top light bar with six spot lights, leather steering wheel and Recaro seats, which are leather, heated and air-cooled.

The second is a lightweight 11-litre Range T460 6x2 with a mini mid-lift, with a factory-fitted PTO and tipping equipment. Renault said that the Range T MML derivative (pictured above) is up to half a tonne lighter than the standard 6x2 mid-lift, offers significant payload advantages for operators.

Additionally, the Tip-ex stand will feature a Range C430 8x4 fitted with an 11-litre engine, night and day cab and a Wilcox insulated aggregate tipper.
