Roofing, cladding and glazing services provider, SPV Group, has taken delivery of a 26-tonne Range C460 6x2 from Renault Trucks Midlands.
The 26-tonne vehicle with sleeper cab, supplied on a full three-year maintenance contract, has a 22ft dropside body and drawbar configuration by Fred Smith and Sons Motor Bodies.
Its rear-mounted 25 metre high HMF 3220-K8 crane, which can lift one tonne to a maximum height of 25 metres, allows SPV to load materials straight onto a roof.
This saves on costs for hiring in additional plant, reduces manual handling and sets up sites more quickly for improved productivity.
The truck is also fitted with twin fuel tanks for extended operating range.
