Nottingham-based Rennie Hogg Transport, part of The RH Group, has taken delivery of 22 Renault Magnum 500.25 Euro-4s and has a further 20 Euro-5 Renault Magnums on order. The trucks were supplied by fellow group company RH Commercial Vehicles.

Nigel Baxter, transport director at Rennie Hogg Transport, says: "The whole-life cost of the Renault Magnum is economical and so is particularly suited to our five-year replacement policy. It has a strong residual value and is very fuel-efficient for our long-distance usage. We're also looking forward to seeing further fuel savings with the Euro-4 and Euro-5 models.

"Secondly, it is important to us to recruit and retain the highest quality of driver. The Renault Magnum is a popular truck with our drivers - and by providing good-quality, comfortable trucks, we can attract the best people for the task," he adds.
