RH Rentals has invested £800,000 in 10 new top-spec Renault Range Ts to join its expanding rental fleet.

The East Midlands rentals division of Renault Trucks dealer RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV) plans to add more trucks at its sites in Nottingham, Alfreton and Cossington later this year and expand its fleet by almost 25% by the end of the year.

RHCV financial director Robert Pick said the CV rental sector is buoyant with operators of all sizes switching to truck and trailer rental, contract hire, fleet management and contract maintenance.

“We started the year with significant enquiries, which has now delivered record orders post-Brexit and we will be continuing our plans for expansion in both the fleet and division,” he said.

“We have a range of business-to-business customers across the East Midlands working in a variety of sectors from printers to food manufacturers for whom contract hire offers a flexible option for getting goods and services from A to B,” Pick added.
