Rhys Davies looks for freight forwarding growth

Cardiff-based haulier Rhys Davies Freight Logistics is looking to expand its freight forwarding arm following the appointment of Gary Phillips as commercial manager.

Phillips has been given a remit to not just boost sales at Rhys Davies Forwarding but increase the profile of the division that handles shipments to the Middle East and Far East.

“My aim is to significantly increase the turnover of the division within the next twelve months,” says Phillips. “It’s a tall order, but I’m confident that when companies see what we have to offer in terms of international expertise and technology, we will win their business.”

A new marketing campaign for Rhys Davies Forwarding begins next month.
