Dealer AN Richards has supplied Shropshire-based refrigerated haulage specialist STS Logistics with two MAN tractor units from the Trucks to Go programme.
The TGX 26.480 6x2/2 BLS vehicles have XXL cabs, 480hp six-cylinder, 12.4 litre engines, alloy wheels, leather interiors and fridges. Under MAN’s Trucks to Go scheme, hauliers can acquire ready-built trucks and bodies without the standard factory build lead times.
Chris Jones, company director, said: “Initially we were looking to buy one MAN TGX as a replacement for a 64-plate we already had in our fleet, but with the fantastic service packages, customer service and part-exchange prices available, they were too good to walk away from and we ended up purchasing two.”
